The ability to help give good quality referrals has significant advantages therefore we actively encourage our members to do business with each other. Our philosophy here at the Hive is if you can genuinely help someone without expecting anything back then great relationships can be built.
People buy people and build trust in the relationships they make. Focusing on giving value to others makes your referral relevant to the recipient. If you refer something that doesn’t live up to high expectations, your credibility is gone. Don’t give referrals just for the sake of doing it, and don’t overvalue the businesses in your referral network; if there’s a better option for your customer, refer that business.
